• 1 - 2 pm: Potluck lunch and social hour. Please bring a dish and/or nonalcoholic drinks to share!
• 2 - 3:30 pm: Business meeting, including reports from the RCVFD fire chief, board president, treasurer, and festival chair. Followed by election of the 2025 RCVFD Board of Directors.

All area residents are encouraged to attend! Visit with your neighbors and hear what your fire department is doing for you!

SILENT AUCTION ITEMS UP FOR BID AT THE FESTIVAL

If you receive this alert, you certainly know about the Mountain Festival THIS SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7TH!

The Silent Auction at the Festival is packed with many new items you won’t want to miss: a Stihl MS 261 chainsaw, a Burch barrel, an HP printer, a large machinist's toolchest, a famous author’s workshop, Milwaukee power and Irwin hand tools, rare books (not new), a day at Sky Corral Ranch, a buffalo skull, dinner for 10, artwork, quilts, jewelry, liquor, and a chicken. (!)

The Festival includes all day live music, gigantic used book sale, silent auction with hundreds of items, over 45 craft/vendor booths, bake sale, plant sale, food trucks, commemorative T-shirts, large kids’ activity area, farm animals, 20 educational booths, and firefighter demonstrations.

The Festival Bake Tent needs more support this year! We especially need more pies, although all types of baked goods donations are much appreciated. The Bake Tent is entirely dependent on our wonderful community bakers to be a success, with 100% of the proceeds going to the RCVFD. We also need volunteers to sell at the Bake Tent; contact me if you can join us for an hour. Please consider participating this year!

PIES are a big-ticket item; cookies, bars, brownies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and breads are popular with folks wandering the festival. Items that do not require refrigeration are best for the sale. Please package items in sellable amounts (2-4 cookies, ½ dozen cookies, etc.). Also list high allergen ingredients such as nuts or dairy. We will be at the tent by 7:30 AM on the day of the festival so you can drop off your items early or anytime that day.
