Milk and Cookies with Santa Christmas Event at Sky Corral, this Saturday, December 7 from 12-4. We will feature Local Vendors just in time for Christmas shopping! The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM MDT this evening. This warning applies to Fire Weather Zone 215, which includes the Rist Canyon area.

• AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 215, 216, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250 and 251.


• TIMING...From 10 AM this morning to 6 PM MDT this evening.


• WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. A few gusts up to 60 mph may occur in the foothills.


• RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 17 percent.


• IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.

Join us for the Stove Prairie Fall Festival Saturday, October 5th from 10-4! It's the school's big fundraiser for the year and a fun filled day for the mountain community! We have a kids carnival with a bouncy house, silent auction with lots of local offerings, vendors, bake sale, food trucks and more! All in support of our little mountain school!
